About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our dynamic and specialist team at St Barnabas Hospice in Lincolnshire. As a Palliative Care Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering specialist palliative care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, working within our wellbeing hub and community setting. This will include leading groups and individually seeing patients in a friendly clinic based at Novak House in Boston.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Deliver specialist palliative care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, working within our wellbeing hub and community setting.
  2. Lead groups and individually see patients in a friendly clinic based at Novak House in Boston.
  3. Develop and implement Physiotherapy interventions in line with evidence-based practice.
  4. Work collaboratively with the wider MDT to support patients and their families.

Requirements

  • Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc/MSc)
  • Recent post-registration experience in a relevant area, such as Acute Medicine, Respiratory, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Oncology, Palliative Care, or Community Therapies
  • Current registration with the Health Care Professional Council
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car or own transport
