About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team at St Barnabas Hospice. As a Physiotherapist in Palliative Care, you will play a crucial role in supporting our patients to achieve their goals during the palliative stage of their illness and at end of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialist palliative care to patients in a friendly clinic setting
  • Lead groups and individually see patients to support their physical and emotional well-being
  • Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care
  • Develop and implement Physiotherapy interventions in line with evidence-based practice
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Physiotherapy services

Requirements

  • Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc/MSc)
  • Recent post-registration experience in a relevant area, such as Acute Medicine, Respiratory, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Oncology, or Community Therapies
  • Current registration with the Health Care Professional Council
  • Business car insurance and access to a car or own transport with a full UK driving licence
