Job Description: The Progress Coach will be responsible for supporting learners' induction, performance, progress, and progression. This includes checking and monitoring student attendance and responding promptly to barriers to learning by carrying out proactive intervention strategies and referring learners to relevant support where required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a learner's advocate, working closely with curriculum managers and teaching staff to support successful completion of their journey through monitoring progress and performance.
• Support learners' induction, performance, progress, and progression.
• Check and monitor student attendance within their caseload, working closely with curriculum teams, CMs, and intervention coaches to improve attendance, in line with college policy.
• Respond promptly to barriers to learning by carrying out proactive intervention strategies and referring learners to relevant support where required.

Requirements:
• Minimum of Level 3 qualification in youth work, teaching, training, or a related discipline or be willing to work towards.
• Minimum of Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy.
• Prepared to complete any internally accredited training to support the effectiveness of the role.
• Knowledge of safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults.
• Experience of working with young people in educational or other settings.
• Experience of writing accurate documentation suitable for referrals (parent, student, colleagues, external bodies).
