Job Description

Smile Education is looking for a Child and Youth Care Specialist to work as a Behavioural Support Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pastoral support to students in a Sheffield-based school.

About the Position
  • You will be working within a dynamic team to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
  • As a key member of the educational support team, you will be involved in coordinating support and provision for students facing challenges.
Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Offer mentoring and counselling services to students who require additional support.
  2. Develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies to promote positive learning environments.
  3. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and support.
Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a strong understanding of child development principles and practices.

An estimated salary of £28,000 - £38,000 per annum is offered for this position.
