About the Role

Livewell Southwest is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Lower Limb Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist care and management of lower limb conditions, including wound care and tissue viability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide holistic evidence-based care to patients with lower limb conditions, including wound care and tissue viability.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the needs of patients.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and management of patients.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication networks with other members of the Primary Health Care Team and other agencies.
  • Participate in clinical governance, including audits and effective and safe use of resources and equipment.
  • Act as a role model for all staff and students, demonstrating specialist clinical skills and high standards of practice and professional conduct.

Requirements

  • Current UK Level 1 registration with the NMC.
  • Full UK driving Licence.
  • Excellent time management and delegation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to assess and treat patients using evidence-based practice.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a variety of settings.
  • Ability to work with difficult and complex situations.
  • IT literate.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to motivate others.
  • Non-judgemental.
