Job Title: Telephone Business Development Manager

We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual to join our team in Watford as a Telephone Business Development Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and developing relationships with intermediaries within your allocated region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Relationship Building: To create, manage, and develop relationships with introducers to achieve new business targets.
  • Product Knowledge: To have expert knowledge of our BTL and Bridging products, criteria, process, and USPs to be able to assess enquiries, produce terms, and progress these into applications within Service Level Agreements.
  • Collaboration: To work alongside the regional field BDM to manage intermediaries within the region in order to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Enquiry Handling: To speak to introducers and handle new business enquiries.
  • Product Awareness: To ensure that our products are front-of-mind and that all intermediaries are updated about new products and features.
Key Skills:
  • Excellent Communication: Excellent call handling, listening, and influencing skills.
  • Telephone Manner: Good telephone manner and able to articulate yourself well.
  • Relationship Building: Able to successfully build relationships.
  • Confidence: Confidence to pursue leads and overcome objections.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience within a sales role would be highly desirable.
