Job Title: Global People and Culture Manager

This is an excellent opportunity to join CLA Global's global office as a full-time Global People and Culture Specialist. You will play a key role in ensuring all aspects relating to people and culture are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Global Employee Mobility:
    • You will support member firm leaders in designing, developing, and coordinating a comprehensive global approach to employee mobility and secondment opportunities.
    • Establish policies and processes to facilitate smooth transitions for employees moving across international locations.
    • You will track progress, outcomes, and satisfaction in relation to the programme.
  • Learning and Development Strategy:
    • You will lead the development of a global learning and development strategy, working with our member firms.
    • In the short term, consider phase 1 of the strategy, including the development of signature programs such as:
      • A Global Leadership Program aimed at nurturing future leaders within the global organization.
      • A New Managers Program designed to equip new managers with essential skills and knowledge.
      • A Technical Updates program to ensure employees stay current with industry developments.
    • You will determine the optimal balance between new development and adapting existing assets within the network.
    • You will track progress, outcomes, and satisfaction in relation to the programmes.
  • Culture and Values:
    • Collaborate with leadership and employees to define, articulate, and promote CLA Global's culture and core values.
  • Societal and Community Impact:
    • Work with member firms to develop and implement a CLA Global approach to societal and community impact.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Work with the People and Culture Committee and its Chair to achieve strategic goals relating to People and Culture.
    • You will prepare reports to the International Board summarizing progress on strategic goals.
  • Ad Hoc Support:

You will provide ad hoc support and guidance on people and culture matters to the global office.

  • Persuading and influencing – ability to communicate across all levels of seniority and across a range of cultures to achieve an appropriate outcome.
  • Credibility – recognized internally and externally as a leader in the profession.
  • Practical experience – able to use existing knowledge to develop practical solutions across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Communication – both internal and external, in writing and in presentations.
  • Networking – with leaders in member firms and externally, within the profession.
  • 'No task too small' – willingness to carry out tasks at all levels to ensure the People and Culture strategy is delivered.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience, preferably within an international professional services environment.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and coordinating a global employee mobility and secondment program.
  • Experience of designing and providing learning and development resources across multiple channels.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current techniques and procedures used in the design and development of technical programs and courses.
  • Strong organizational and management skills to proactively manage and prioritize course development activities for multiple tasks.
  • Ability to develop project plans showing scope, timelines, resource requirements, and constraints/risks.
  • Ability to define, articulate, and promote a global organization's culture and core values.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and influence people at all levels.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for people and culture within an organization.
  • Comfortable working autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to think commercially and apply knowledge pragmatically.
  • Excellent English language written and oral communication skills.
Annual Salary Range:

$105,000 - $156,250
