A challenging role awaits as an Acquisition Officer in our UK & Europe Group. We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire procurement cycle, from negotiation of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and teaming agreements to subcontract administration, issue resolution, and closeout activities.

We offer a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus benefits such as contributory pension scheme, private medical insurance, and 33 days annual leave.

As an Acquisition Officer, you will have the opportunity to work on various types of subcontracts, interface with internal customers, other functional support staff, and suppliers, and develop your skills in organizational, written and oral communication, time management, and problem-solving.

Key responsibilities:

  • Negotiates NDA's and Teaming Agreements
  • Creates moderate to complex RFP solicitations in accordance with Leidos processes and procedures
  • Evaluates supplier proposal responses
  • Conducts price and cost analysis
  • Negotiates pricing and terms/conditions with subcontractors
  • Administers subcontracts of various types and complexity
  • Identifies and resolves moderate issues and problems on assigned subcontracts and make recommendations to management
  • Performs subcontract close-out activities
  • Analyse risks and identify risk mitigation
  • Acts as primary interface between subcontractors and the programs being supported for all subcontracts related issues
  • Regularly interacts with program management, contracts, project control, finance, business development and with customers as required
