Assistant Finance Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join our client's rapidly expanding UK team.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with experience of coaching and leading a team to take their career to the next level. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the timely and accurate production of financial reports, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS standards, and planning and organising their own client portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports, as well as annual VAT returns
  • Preparing financial statements in line with UK GAAP/IFRS or other relevant standards
  • Planning and organising client portfolios and team time planning
About You

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA) accounting experience with a minimum of 4 years' practical work experience
  • Demonstrable experience of producing financial statements for various entities, with knowledge of current accounting legislation and regulations
  • Exceptional client service skills and experience working in a financial services environment or professional practice
