Culinary Expert Role

This part-time School Chef position involves preparing and serving high-quality food to clients and customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for great-tasting food, hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent qualification, and experience supervising a team. Responsibilities:
- Prepare delicious, high-quality food that meets the expectations of our clients and customers
- Oversee and implement menu changes to ensure they align with customer preferences
- Identify opportunities to improve our food services by listening to customer feedback and acting on it
- Support the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
- Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure our kitchens are well-stocked
- Oversee kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
- Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations
About the Ideal Candidate:
- You should be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
- Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent qualification
- Have experience supervising a team
- Be flexible and able to adapt to changing situations
