  • Have a flexible approach to working - with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads, and a willingness to support the creation of new menus and creative food concepts.
  • Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image - being a role model for our team and maintaining high standards of professionalism and conduct.

We are looking for a talented and experienced Chef to join our team at Compass UK & Ireland. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our clients and customers. You will also be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve high-quality food to our clients and customers, maintaining exceptional standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
  • Menu Planning and Development: Work with our culinary team to develop new menus and food concepts, ensuring they meet the needs and preferences of our clients and customers.
  • Kitchen Operations: Oversee and manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, staff supervision, and maintenance of kitchen facilities.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer feedback and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Relevant culinary qualification, including City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
  • Food Hygiene certificate.
  • Experience in a similar Chef role, including kitchen management and staff supervision.
