Seaham Hall, a luxury resort in County Durham, seeks an experienced Breakfast Chef to join their culinary team.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie, with a passion for cooking and strong communication skills.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented individual who can prepare and cook breakfast dishes to the highest standards, using locally sourced ingredients. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring portion and waste control, assisting with stock control and ordering, and maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook breakfast dishes in the designated section of the kitchenMaintain high food quality and presentation standardsMonitor and control portion sizes and waste to maximize profit marginsAssist with inventory management and orderingMaintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie
  • A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in professional cookery (desirable)

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of up to £26,500 per annum, plus a share of the service charge (approximately £2,000 per annum). Other benefits include a reward and recognition scheme, inclusion in charity events, and access to our workplace wellness program.
