Clinical Lead Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Lead Therapist to join our Children and Young People's Mental Health Services (CYPMHS) team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading the clinical development and delivery of services for children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties, including those with complex needs and challenging behaviour.
Main Responsibilities- Lead on service development and delivery, including research opportunities and partnership working with key agencies.
- Ensure the service is delivering clinically effective interventions in line with current research and clinical guidelines.
- Routinely measure clinical outcomes and deliver evidence-based practice and auditing the service delivered.
- Ensure staff team have relevant skills and CPD, including opportunities to further their experience and training.
- Provide clinical leadership and specialist treatment and assessment within your professional sphere of expertise.
NELFT's CYPMHS is a comprehensive service for children and young people aged 0-18, providing a range of interventions and support to promote emotional wellbeing and mental health.
Person Specification- Successful completion of a graduate training in a relevant field (e.g. nursing, social work, occupational therapy).
- Eligibility for registration as a full member of the appropriate professional body (e.g. HCPC, NMC).
- Extensive experience of working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties, including those with complex needs and challenging behaviour.
- Experience of providing clinical interventions in different cultural contexts.
