Clinical Lead for Children and Young People's Mental Health Services

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Lead to join our Children and Young People's Mental Health Services (CYPMHS) team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise to our multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to children and young people with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise to the CYPMHS team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to children and young people with complex mental health needs.
- Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve outcomes for children and young people with neurodevelopmental and learning disabilities.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication.
- Represent the service at commissioning and strategic level with key agencies, ensuring the voice of children and young people is represented.

Person Specification- Successful completion of a post-graduate training in psychological practice (e.g. psychologist, family therapist, child and adolescent psychotherapist).
- To be eligible for registration as a full member of the appropriate professional body (e.g. HCPC, BACP, UKCP, AFT, ACP).
- Extensive experience of working with moderate to profound learning disabilities, disturbed or challenging children/young people requiring skilled and complex interventions.
- Extensive experience of working therapeutically with parents/carers/families of children and young people with complex mental health problems.
