About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Bank Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our Intermediate Care Team in Kent. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for adult patients with complex and complicated care needs.

You will work closely with patients, their families, and carers to provide advice, support, and education on their medical condition and how it affects their lifestyle and environment. This is a bank part-time position working 21 hours per week until 30th March 2025, with some flexibility in how the hours can be worked.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of the department by contributing to individual and service objectives.
  • Provide clinical support and supervision to junior colleagues and offer training to students.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, participating in innovation and service development to benefit patients and colleagues.
  • Complete complex holistic assessments in the management of patients with chronic respiratory conditions.
