Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Therapy Assistant to assist our qualified therapists in delivering patient-centered care. Your primary responsibility will be to support patients with chronic pain, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist qualified therapists in conducting holistic assessments, interventions, and creating rehabilitation programs for community-based patients.
  • Work independently to manage a defined caseload, reporting back to qualified clinicians at agreed timescales.
  • Develop and lead therapeutic group activities, such as sleep hygiene, relaxation, and mindfulness, to support patients in managing their pain.
  • Collaborate with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvements, working closely with the team to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Any degree qualification.
  • Patient-facing experience in a band 3 role.
  • Transferable skills and experience as a band 3 therapy assistant.
  • Knowledge of conditions and community working processes.
