About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Elmhurst Intermediate Care Centre in Winsford. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to provide assessment and treatment to patients with diverse health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the effective day-to-day provision of Occupational Therapy in your working area, reporting to and liaising with the team leader and manager.
  • Manage your complex case load of referred patients, monitoring the appropriateness of referrals and ensuring appropriate discharge/ongoing care.
  • Develop effective systems of communication and liaison with referring agents and all members of the multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Graduate of Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience in supervising therapy assistance and supporting team service development.
  • Transferable skills.
