Nuclear Power Plant Design Engineer

At Rolls-Royce SMR, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Systems Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise across the lifecycle of Electrical Systems for the SMR nuclear power plant.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing and managing a team of electrical engineers
- Setting the work plan on cross-cutting topics such as cable system design, electrical modularisation, standardisation, electrical layout, systems engineering and management of the electrical load schedule
- Providing technical leadership and expertise across the lifecycle of Electrical Systems
The ideal candidate will have a degree-level qualification in electrical engineering or a related subject and experience working within the nuclear industry is not essential but a proven record of working across the electrical system lifecycle is required.
