Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer Wanted for Nuclear Power Plant Project

The Energy Division at ARM is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their Nuclear Power Plant Project team in Warrington, working on a hybrid basis.

Job Overview

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering mechanical engineering documentation and producing/modifying design deliverables that meet project and client standards.

  • Create comprehensive packages of engineering deliverables required for construction/installation works, including CAD work for updated drawings.
  • Provide engineering support for manufacturer procurement packages and site construction/commissioning functions.
  • E nsure compliance with relevant legislation such as Machinery regulations, CE marking, H&S files, EHSR, Design Change closure, and O&M manuals.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of design methods and techniques in the Mechanical discipline.
  • Familiarity with relevant engineering design codes and standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawings and MS Office applications for documents.

A nuclear experience background is preferred, working on similar projects or in highly regulated industries.

Salary

$90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
