Nuclear Plant Maintenance Expert

We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Technical Support professional to provide engineering support to the Infrastructure Compliance Engineering team at the National Nuclear Laboratory. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of expert services in plant, system, and equipment reliability.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline, with a strong background in maintenance activities, planning, and project management. You will also require experience in compliance engineering, safety management, and project coordination.

We offer a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including 25.5 days of annual leave, Bank Holidays, and a generous pension plan. This role involves implementing and maintaining the technical basis of maintenance (TBoM) process, assisting with planning complex maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with legislative, regulatory, and company procedures and standards. You will also support the Mechanical Team Leader in installation, modifications, and commissioning of installed equipment.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications:**
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline
• Strong technical skills and experience in maintenance activities, planning, and project management
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to obtain DV level security clearance
