Nuclear Power Plant Fabrication Opportunities

Are you a skilled Metal Fabricator looking for a long-term opportunity? We are seeking individuals with expertise in fabricating steel structures and components for the construction of the UK's first-ever third generation nuclear power plant.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for translating engineering documents into fabrication plans, cutting, shaping, and assembling steel plates and components, and installing and joining plate and structural materials.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Translate engineering documents into fabrication plans and select necessary tools and equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively within the MEH Alliance to deliver complex piping and cabling systems.
  • Complete tasks set by supervisors and ensure work meets or exceeds contract specifications.
  • Proven experience working on major construction projects.
  • NVQ 3 / ACE card in Fabricating Steel Structures or Fabrication & Welding.
  • Paid at a competitive rate of £27.12 per hour with overtime after 38 hours at £37.97.
  • Tax-free lodge/subsistence of £337.12 per week.
  • Holiday/sick pay.
  • Work bonus on offer (milestone payments).
