Bereavement Care Coordinator

In this critical role, you will manage casework assigned by the Head of Department or Team Leader, maintaining regular contact with your allocated caseload. You will collaborate with the Head of Department or Team Leader to close or re-refer cases as necessary, attending regular supervision sessions to ensure seamless support for our clients. Key responsibilities also include completing online contact sheets for statistical purposes and documenting client notes after each session using an online system.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times, adhering to data protection policies.
  • Participate in mandatory training and attend relevant courses or meetings within your role.
  • Familiarize yourself with and comply with Health and Safety policy, COSHH Guidelines, Fire procedure, Equal Opportunities, Lone Worker, and Disciplinary procedures.
  • Align with Farleigh Hospice values: caring, respectful, dedicated, and innovative.

Requirements
  • Patient, reliable, and understanding attitude.
  • Empathy and willingness to help people through their grief journey.
  • Awareness of personal response to death, dying, and bereavement.
  • Sensitivity and adaptability when dealing with different situations and people.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and IT skills.
  • Ability to work accurately, pay attention to detail, and learn new skills quickly.

Salary and Benefits
