Support Services Officer

Chelmsford Star Co-op is seeking an experienced Support Services Officer to join its Funeral Services team. As a bereavement and funeral care specialist, you will provide emotional support and guidance to grieving families during this difficult time.
You will be responsible for liaising with medical professionals, clergymen, crematorium staff, and coroners to ensure smooth funeral arrangements. Additionally, you will sell and administer monumental masonry services, and participate in our Bereavement and Aftercare Support Group as needed.
This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and attention to detail. If you have experience in a related field and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply. We offer a salary range of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits.
