BSL Trained Support Worker Opportunity

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a BSL Level 3 trained individual to join our team as a support worker. As a teaching assistant, you will be working closely with children and young people who have hearing impairments and other learning disabilities, including autism.
Your primary role will involve supporting students in a small group setting, providing one-to-one assistance when required, and facilitating communication via British Sign Language (BSL). A caring and patient approach is essential for this position, as you will be working with students who require additional support.
Requirements:- A minimum of BSL Level 2 qualification, with Level 3 preferred
- Experience as a teaching assistant in a similar setting
- A warm and empathetic demeanor, prioritizing the needs of the students
- Ability to provide effective support to students with varying abilities
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- A supportive and collaborative work environment
- A competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £30,000 per annum
