British Sign Language (BSL) Teaching Position

We are recruiting a qualified and enthusiastic BSL teacher to work with us at TeacherActive, helping deaf students achieve their full potential.

About the Job:

  • Taught courses and modules to deaf students using British Sign Language as the primary medium of instruction.
  • Developed and implemented engaging lesson plans tailored to students' needs and abilities.
  • Maintained accurate records of student progress and provided regular feedback.
  • Collaborated with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • A degree in education or a related field, with a focus on special educational needs.
  • Proficiency in British Sign Language (BSL), ideally to Level 2 or above.
  • Experience working with deaf or hard-of-hearing students in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
