Deaf Education Specialist

Are you passionate about empowering deaf students in a supportive and inclusive educational environment? We are seeking a motivated and skilled BSL Teacher to join our dedicated team of professionals at a highly regarded deaf school in Northfield, Birmingham.
The successful candidate will have British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 qualification or above and experience working with deaf or hard-of-hearing children and young people in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the teaching and learning of deaf students, ensuring they have access to a tailored and engaging learning environment.
- Use British Sign Language (BSL) to communicate effectively with students, helping them understand lessons and instructions.
- Create a safe and supportive environment where students feel confident to express themselves and participate fully.
- Build strong relationships with students, staff, and external professionals to support holistic student development.
