We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Business Systems Developer to join our multidisciplinary team at DN Colleges Group. Key Responsibilities- Assist in the daily operation and maintenance of business systems, including HR, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Management Information Systems (MIS), and other enterprise applications.
- Design, develop, implement, and support data & information assets that align with the operational and strategic needs of the colleges.
- Provide technical support to first-line and second-line Group services roles, resolving system-related issues promptly.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and integration of new systems or features.
- Monitor system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of all data flow assets.
- Assist in the planning, execution, and management of system upgrades and new implementations.
- Analyse current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Ensure the security, integrity, and reliability of data & information assets.
- Regularly update your specialist area(s) and participate in staff development activities.
- Actively participate in performance reviews and appraisals.
- Work collaboratively across Business Systems and IT to ensure high-quality service provision.
- Represent DN Colleges Group values, championing equity, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Support the DN Colleges annual programme of events and plan for increased service demand during peak times.
- Demonstrate continual learning and development, both individually and within the wider team.
- A degree or relevant working experience in computer science or a related field.
- Proven experience working within a relatable field under guided and autonomous direction.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS).
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in data integration and business logic using programming languages and third-party integrations.
