About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Business Systems Developer to join our multidisciplinary team at DN Colleges Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence and consistency across our services, aligning with our strategies, plans, and priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the daily operation and maintenance of business systems, including HR, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Management Information Systems (MIS), and other enterprise applications.
  • Design, develop, implement, and support data & information assets that align with the operational and strategic needs of the colleges.
  • Provide technical support to first-line and second-line Group services roles, resolving system-related issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and integration of new systems or features.
  • Monitor system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of all data flow assets.
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and management of system upgrades and new implementations.
  • Analyse current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
  • Ensure the security, integrity, and reliability of data & information assets.
Professional Development
  • Regularly update your specialist area(s) and participate in staff development activities.
  • Actively participate in performance reviews and appraisals.
Generic Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively across Business Systems and IT to ensure high-quality service provision.

Essential Criteria:
  • A degree or relevant working experience in computer science or a related field.

  • Proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS).
  • Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in data integration and business logic using programming languages and third-party integrations.
