Executive Chef Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at beBee Professionals in the heart of City of Westminster, United Kingdom. As the second-in-command, you will assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring exceptional food quality and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu planning and food preparation strategies.
- Supervise the kitchen team to maintain a smooth operation during service hours.
- Ensure all dishes meet the highest standards and are delivered promptly.
- Maintain a spotless kitchen environment according to health and safety regulations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior kitchen staff members.
- Oversee inventory management and order supplies as needed.
- Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role with a reputable establishment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Creativity and passion for preparing high-quality dishes using fresh ingredients.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher preferred).
Competitive Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
