Sous Chef Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at beBee Professionals in the heart of City of Westminster, United Kingdom. As the second-in-command, you will assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring exceptional food quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu planning and food preparation strategies.
  • Supervise the kitchen team to maintain a smooth operation during service hours.
  • Ensure all dishes meet the highest standards and are delivered promptly.
  • Maintain a spotless kitchen environment according to health and safety regulations.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior kitchen staff members.
  • Oversee inventory management and order supplies as needed.
  • Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role with a reputable establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices.
  • Creativity and passion for preparing high-quality dishes using fresh ingredients.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher preferred).

Competitive Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
