Job Title: Nursing Home Support Coordinator

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Nursing Home Support Coordinator at Bupa Global.

About the Role:

  • This position requires strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team of Care Assistants in delivering exceptional patient care.
  • You will work closely with the Nurse to develop and implement care plans, as well as provide clinical support and guidance.
  • A key aspect of this role is building relationships with residents, their families, and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day responsibility for running a care home unit
  • Supporting with clinical duties, including supporting the nurse to observe, issue medication, review care plans and accurate record keeping
  • Driving and managing a team of Care Assistants, including responsible for all shift handovers of the teams
  • Helping with training and supervision of new staff members so they feel welcomed and supported
  • Building relationships with residents, their families and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses

Requirements:

  • NVQ3 in care or working towards
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong clinical knowledge and experience
