About the Role:

Tower Hamlets Council Pension Fund is seeking a highly skilled SEMH Practitioner to join our Behaviour Support Team.

We require a practitioner with experience of working with schools at all levels, who can support the full range of SEMH needs, from whole school policy and practice to individual diagnostic assessment.

The role provides support for children with EHCPs and helps schools improve their inclusive practices through various interventions in our traded offer.

This post includes a travel allowance.

  1. Support children with SEMH needs.
  2. Collaborate with schools to enhance inclusive practices.
  3. Maintain knowledge of whole school policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

SEMH Expertise

  • Provide expert guidance on SEMH assessments and strategies.

Whole School Policies

  • Advise schools on developing effective whole-school policies and practices.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Develop strong relationships with teaching staff to ensure effective collaboration and communication.

Requirements:

A highly skilled SEMH Practitioner with a deep understanding of supporting schools across various levels. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teaching staff.

Estimated Salary: £58,000 per annum
