At TimePlan Education, we are seeking a Primary SEMH Education Specialist to join our dedicated team at a primary school in Islington. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to make a real difference in the lives of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £40,000-£50,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Summary

The Primary SEMH Education Specialist will work closely with the school's leadership team to develop and implement strategies for supporting students with SEMH needs. You will deliver high-quality teaching and contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.

  • Deliver high-quality, tailored teaching for students with SEMH needs in line with the curriculum.
  • Manage challenging behaviours with sensitivity and consistency.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a strong background in SEMH education and a passion for supporting students with additional needs. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Proven experience working with children with SEMH needs in a primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities that arise when working with SEMH children.
