Job Title: Customer Experience Manager

Michaels is seeking a Customer Experience Manager to lead our front-end operations and deliver exceptional customer service. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for managing and executing our customer-centric strategies, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the customer experience team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
  • Develop and implement customer-centric strategies to drive sales and customer loyalty
  • Manage and execute front-end operations, including inventory control, shrink reduction, and safety programs
  • Collaborate with the store manager to achieve business objectives and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Train and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Participate in the performance management process and provide feedback to team members
  • Assist with cash reconciliation and bank deposits, as needed
  • Assist with inventory processes, including Return to Vendor (RTV) and Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) activities, as needed
  • Assist with the onboarding of new team members
  • Participate in the truck unloading and stocking processes to ensure truck standards are followed and completed within budget
  • Manage and execute the shrink and safety programs
  • Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a customer-centric environment
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, team members, and store management
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time and move throughout the store
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
