Job Title: Apprentice District Nurse
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as an Apprentice District Nurse. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality community health services, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote health, well-being, and independence.
Main Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of community health services, aligned with the strategic direction of East Coast Community Healthcare CIC.
- Support and promote the values and culture of the organization, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Act as a resource for other healthcare professionals, providing guidance and expertise on community nursing matters.
- Participate in clinical supervision and contribute to the clinical governance agenda, promoting high-quality care and patient safety.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and carers, respecting their autonomy and dignity.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver planned and unplanned services, ensuring a seamless patient experience.
- Contribute to the review and development of clinical pathways, policies, and guidelines, ensuring best practice is delivered to patients.
- Take responsibility for personal and professional development, maintaining accurate and contemporaneous patient records.
Requirements:
- Degree in Nursing or related field.
- Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in community health services or a related field.
Working Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
