Office Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our Admin Support team at Head Office, Hattersley. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity, and we welcome part-time applications with a spread of 5 days across the week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reception Duties: Answering telephones with professionalism and courtesy, providing a warm welcome to our visitors.
  • Mail Management: Efficiently sorting, scanning, and franking mail, including postal runs to the local post office.
  • Courier Services: Utilizing the Inxpress software to arrange courier services across the company when required.
  • Administrative Support: Providing assistance with various tasks such as typing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Office Maintenance: Ensuring the office environment remains clean and tidy, maintaining a safe and healthy workspace.
  • Software Use: Operating internal systems and software, with training provided to ensure proficiency.
  • Executive Assistance: Supporting the Executive Assistant with additional duties as needed, such as expenses and travel/hotel arrangements.
  • Archiving: Managing and processing company archives, maintaining accurate records.
  • Meeting Coordination: Ordering buffets and lunches for meetings and events as required, ensuring seamless event planning.
  • Stock Management: Maintaining and ordering office supplies, including groceries and stationery, to ensure a well-stocked office.
  • General Office Administration: Assisting in the smooth running of day-to-day office operations, including coffee machine maintenance.
