Job Opportunity: Production Manager

We are partnering with a reputable Bakery Manufacturer in Leicestershire to find a skilled Production Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience in a management position within the food industry and a strong interest in Lean Manufacturing principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Oversight: Manage all aspects of the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Operational Efficiency: Drive process improvements to optimize production output, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet stringent quality standards, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety regulations and conducting regular risk assessments.
  • Production Planning: Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
  • Budget Management: Manage production budgets, controlling costs while maintaining high levels of productivity.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of £50,000 + 10% bonus (flexible for exceptional candidates)
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
