Production Manager Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team at an established Bakery Manufacturer in Leicestershire. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production, leading a team of production staff, and driving process improvements to optimize output and minimize waste.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage all aspects of the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
* Drive process improvements to optimize production output, reduce waste, and minimize downtime
* Ensure all products meet stringent quality standards, implementing corrective actions when necessary
* Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety regulations and conducting regular risk assessments
* Work closely with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products
* Manage production budgets, controlling costs while maintaining high levels of productivity
