Job Description: The Asset Administrator will be responsible for managing our stores facility in Rotherham. This includes developing and maintaining our Stores database, monitoring and replenishing stock levels, and picking, checking, and counting parts to prevent errors and delays.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Database Management: Develop and maintain our Stores database on the Computerised Maintenance Management System.
  2. Stock Control: Monitor and replenish stock levels to ensure optimal inventory management.
  3. Picking and Verification: Pick, check, and accurately count parts to prevent errors and delays.
  4. Product Assignment: Verify that products are correctly assigned to jobs to maintain quality standards.
  5. Purchase Order Processing: Process and update purchase orders on our bespoke system in a timely manner.
  6. Customer Liaison: Liaise with customers and drivers to confirm stock availability and delivery timescales.
  7. Returned Items Inspection: Inspect returned items for damage or defects, reporting any issues to the relevant parties.
  8. Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Computer Applications: Proficiency in Microsoft and other computer applications.
  • Adaptability and Communication: Ability to adapt to changing environments and contribute to business growth, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Teamwork and Continuous Learning: Capacity to work independently or as part of a team, willingness to learn and progress within the company.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work overtime during peak periods.
