Job Title: Curriculum Leader - Digital Technologies

Job Summary:

Newcastle College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Curriculum Leader to join our team. As a key member of our curriculum leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our digital technologies curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive digital technologies curriculum that aligns with industry standards and College requirements.
  • Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and management to a team of educators and support staff to ensure high-quality provision and maximization of resources.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of provision against key performance indicators and benchmarks, implementing improvement plans as necessary.
  • Apprenticeship Management: Manage digital apprenticeships and higher education programs to ensure high levels of performance and take responsibility for the apprenticeship journey from sign-up to completion.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with employers and stakeholders to ensure excellent service and high levels of satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified teacher status and a management qualification.
  • Experience: Experience of effective people and performance management, change management, and implementing new initiatives.
  • Skills: Experience of deploying learning technologies, tracking processes, and using college monitoring systems to support learners to achieve and progress.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of industry standards and College requirements, including quality, finance, and health and safety.
