Vulnerable Adults and Children Support ManagerAbout the Role

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Vulnerable Adults and Children Support Team. As a key member of the team, you will provide support to vulnerable children and adults with complex situations, working closely with practitioners undertaking visits to families.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children and adults, as well as experience in practicing as a Social Worker or Nurse Manager in CYP or ASC.

Responsibilities
  • Support vulnerable children and adults with complex situations
  • Work collaboratively with practitioners undertaking visits to families
  • Negotiate and converse with young people and their families who are under stress and/or in crisis
Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker or Nurse currently in a substantive Grade 7 post
  • Experience of practicing as a Social Worker or Nurse Manager in CYP or ASC
  • Extensive experience of safeguarding preferably with both children and adults
  • Ability to record on S1
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to undertake lone working out of hours
