Support Worker for Young Carers

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Suffolk County Council. In this role, you will be working with Young Carers and Young Adult Carers to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of carers and developing strategies to support them. This may involve working with carers to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and helping them to develop life skills that will enable them to live independently.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable adults and children, and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A flexible approach to working hours is essential, as you will be required to work independently and as part of a team.

The estimated salary for this role is £32,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
