Sophie Bell and Associates are partnering with a leading Children's Hospice to seek an experienced Senior Nurse to jointly manage the development of their Clinical Services.

Our client is a pioneering charity that provides specialist care and nursing for babies, children, and young people. They offer a unique approach to palliative care, focusing on the full clinical, emotional, social, and practical needs of each child and their family.

Rated as 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission, they have achieved significant growth over the past two years. Their expert staff and trained volunteers deliver clinical, emotional, and practical support to families, adapting their services to meet individual needs in various settings – homes, communities, or at their state-of-the-art children's hospice building.

The Role

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Nurse to play a crucial role in developing and transforming the Clinical Services Team. This team cares for children staying at the hospice, including those visiting for events and daycare. The post holder will lead the operational delivery of family-centred care, ensuring the highest standards of care for referred babies, children, young people, and their families.

You will work closely with talented individuals who share our client's passion for improving the lives of seriously unwell children and their families. Together, you will be changing the landscape for Paediatric Palliative Care in your area.

Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in paediatric palliative care, leadership, and management
  • Skills in change management (desirable)
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
