Senior Paediatric Physiotherapy Service Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Paediatric Physiotherapy Service Lead to join our multidisciplinary team at King's College Hospital. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership for the paediatric physiotherapy services, shaping these services to respond to growing and changing clinical landscapes.
Job OverviewThe Paediatric Acute Physiotherapy service works across Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), wards, and clinics, managing inpatient and outpatient children on Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV). This is a key leadership role in a dynamic and specialist multi-disciplinary paediatric team working out of the Children's Hospital at King's in Denmark Hill.
Main Duties of the Job- The postholder will be a physiotherapy clinical expert in the management of paediatric acute respiratory conditions, including babies and children in PICU; medical respiratory conditions both acute and chronic; paediatric orthopaedic problems including fractures and trauma and post-elective surgery; paediatric patients following general surgery; children with liver disease and post-liver transplantation; and Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) patients for both inpatient and outpatient paediatric physiotherapy services.
- They will be responsible for clinical leadership and service development within the paediatric physiotherapy services at Kings College Hospital, ensuring a high-quality, effective, and efficient service to patients presenting with all types of conditions both acute and chronic.
- To have a degree or other recognised qualification in Physiotherapy
- Working at a Masters level, as demonstrated by ongoing CPD (including M level), evidence-based project work, external postgraduate lecturing
- HCPC Registered
- Postgraduate training and experience in the clinical specialities of paediatrics and/or infants
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
