Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated physiotherapist to join our team as Clinical Lead Children's Physiotherapist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and service development within the paediatric physiotherapy services at Kings College Hospital.
Main Responsibilities
- To deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to children with acute respiratory conditions, including babies and children in PICU
- To provide supervision and clinical support to the inpatient acute paediatric physiotherapy team and students
- To develop and implement treatment plans based on advanced theoretical and practical knowledge
- To ensure effective communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- To contribute to the development and implementation of new policies and procedures to improve patient care
Requirements
- Degree or recognised qualification in Physiotherapy
- HCPC registration
- Postgraduate training and experience in paediatrics and/or infants
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
- MSc in a clinically relevant or related area
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
- Significant postgraduate paediatric experience, including acute respiratory, PICU, post-surgical, neurology, NIV, Major Trauma, musculoskeletal and orthopaedics
- Specialist experience in the physiotherapy management of acute respiratory paediatrics, including PICU
- Highly specialist knowledge and experience of a wide range of approaches to the management of complex paediatric conditions
- Understanding of NHS Structure and current issues
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £61,927 - £68,676 pro rata, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including annual leave, pension scheme, and access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
