Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery and development of paediatric musculoskeletal physiotherapy services within Central London Community Health Care NHS Trust (CLCH). This includes providing highly specialist therapy programmes to children with MSK, Rheumatological, and Orthopaedic conditions. The post holder will work autonomously to manage their caseload, collaborating with medical staff as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services to children aged 4-16/18 with MSK, Rheumatological, and Orthopaedic conditions.
  • Lead a team of physiotherapists in the provision and ongoing development of these services.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including health, education, and social services, to plan and deliver services to this specific client group.
  • Manage clinical risk, screening for red flags, and referring to other health agencies as necessary.

Person Specification:

  • BSc Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy.
  • Evidence of continuous professional and personal development.
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council.
  • Significant experience in MSK and related fields.
  • Supervision & training of junior staff & students.
  • Experience in managing provision of physiotherapy for MSK.

Salary: £42,049 - £63,855 per annum (inclusive of £9,250 Market Supplement), depending on qualifications and experience.
