Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Band 7 Physiotherapist to join our enthusiastic, friendly, and supportive team in Stratford, East London. This position will be based in the musculoskeletal physiotherapy service, however, the successful post holder may be required to work on other sites within the Trust as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a department and work alongside the existing extended scope team to deliver high-quality physiotherapy services.
  • Supervise and appraise Band 6 Physiotherapists within the team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of the pain service, triage service, and MSK Physiotherapy service, gaining a deep understanding of the wider healthcare community.
  • Manage gym-based therapy groups safely and independently, promoting patient well-being and empowerment.
Requirements
  • Physiotherapy Degree or equivalent.
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council.
  • Knowledge of theory and practice of physiotherapy in relation to the client group.
  • Documented evidence of relevant on-going professional development.
  • Knowledge of safe moving and handling techniques.

This is a full-time static position, requiring flexibility to work evening clinics and at weekends as required. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, including observation, listening, empathy, and negotiation skills. They will be able to apply specialist knowledge and skills to advise others on the care and treatment of clients in relation to specific specialisms.
