About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Physiotherapist to lead our Prehabilitation and Surgical Team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background in respiratory care, with experience in managing patients with complex cancer and complex surgeries.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the Prehabilitation and Surgical Team, working closely with the Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist
- Develop and implement prehabilitation programs for patients undergoing complex surgeries
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Supervise and mentor junior physiotherapy staff
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and guidelines

Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years relevant clinical experience
- 2 years of experience at Band 6 level in respiratory care
- Supervision of junior physiotherapy staff
- Experience of teaching students and peers
- Experience of audit/research process
Desirable
- Previous prehabilitation experience
- Previous experience at Band 7 level
- Previous management of patients following colorectal surgery
