About the Role:We are looking for a skilled Business Development Executive to manage our key accounts, develop and execute strategic account plans, and drive growth and revenue from key accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience in the travel industry, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key account tour operators.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage relationships with key account tour operators, including setting up and attending regular meetings to nurture those relationships
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth and maximise revenue from key accounts
- Identify new distribution channels and opportunities for business growth
- Lead on key accounts trading reviews, identifying actions required to take advantage of opportunities or reduce risk
- Provide regular forecasts and updates on performance and sales analysis
- Work with other departments to ensure good communication between key accounts and Solmar service and delivery teams
- Attend relevant trade shows as required to develop business opportunities
- Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
- Experience of presenting to and influencing a wide variety of audiences at a senior level
- Confident and competent at networking and nurturing important relationships
- Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen
- Sales driven, account management skills
- Computer literate and comfortable using technology such as Salesforce CRM systems and MS Office suite
- A UK driving licence
- The ability to travel regularly within the UK and on occasion within Europe
