About Us

At ENGINEERINGUK, we are looking for a talented Senior Vendor Manager (SVM) to join our Consumables division in the EU Pets team. As an SVM, you will be responsible for developing categories and vendor relationships across the EU.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional with strong analytical, relationship management, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable learning new technologies and have excellent communication skills. You will also have a proven track record of building positive working relationships.

Main Responsibilities
  • Act as the 'business owner' for your category, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact your business (forecasting, monitoring, understanding and reporting on the business, along with responsibility for driving projects and promotions to achieve business objectives).
  • Identify selection expansion opportunities and work with partner teams to onboard new brands to Amazon.
  • Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets.
  • Seek out ways to automate & simplify manual processes.
A Day in the Life

You will spend your days diving deep into financial reporting on business performance, working cross-functionally to develop customer growth projects, and partnering with AVS-Brand Specialists leading the day-to-day vendor relationship to keep us on track to deliver the Vendor Improvement Plan (VIP).

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, or experience in a professional field or military.
  • Experience with Excel.
  • Experience in account management, project/program management, or buying.
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions.
  • Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration.
  • Experience with business analysis and P&L management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate in more than one European language is a plus (not required).
