SEND Teaching Assistant Role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate teaching assistant to join our team at TimePlan Education. As a teaching assistant, you will be working in a SEND school in North West London, supporting children and young adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD).
About the School:
The school provides high-quality education and care for students with complex and severe learning difficulties. You will be working as part of a close-knit team, providing daily support to students, developing strategies for managing challenging behaviour, and assisting with physical disabilities.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, adults, and/or the elderly with additional needs.
- PMLD Experience: A strong understanding of PMLD and experience working with students with severe and complex needs is essential.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team are crucial for this role.
- Attitude: A positive and caring attitude towards students, with a desire to help them succeed, is required.
- Disclosure Check: The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Salary and Benefits:
- Estimated Salary: £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
