Pastoral Care Worker for Primary School

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pastoral Care Worker to join our team at EdEx. As a Pastoral Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with SEND and SEMH needs.

Your main responsibilities will include providing high-quality support to pupils, facilitating their individual needs and abilities, and collaborating with the teaching staff and other support workers to develop strategies for supporting individual students.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children with SEND/SEMH needs and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively as part of a team, communicating regularly with parents and carers to ensure consistent support.

The salary for this role is £105-£110 per day, offering a competitive rate of pay for a challenging yet rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing support to pupils with SEND and SEMH needs.
  • Collaborating with the teaching staff and other support workers to develop strategies for supporting individual students.
  • Facilitating an individual student's needs and abilities.
  • Supporting small groups with learning and development.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with children with SEND/SEMH needs.
  • A high level of communication and interpersonal skills.
